The Central Bank of China, Taiwan to fill the vacancy of Senior Economist

The Central Bank of China, Taiwan has one vacancy for the position of Senior Economist. Applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. A Ph.D. degree in economics from a prestigious university (obtained by July 31, 2007).
2. Specialization in money and banking, macroeconomics and econometrics.
3. Excellent ability to conduct research independently.
4. Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

All candidates should be Taiwanese citizens. Male candidates should already fulfill military service duties.

The closing date for application is February 28, 2007. The following documents are required:
a. A photocopy of the candidate’s Taiwanese I.D. card or passport.
b. A copy of civil servant curriculum vitae.

c. Curriculum vitae and autobiography in English.
d. A photocopy of the Ph.D. degree certificate or a course advisor’s letter showing that such a certificate can be obtained before July 31, 2007.
e. A copy of Ph.D. course transcripts.
f. A copy of the Ph.D. dissertation, or recent publications or papers representative of the candidate’s research work.
g. Two recommendation letters.
