Academia Sinica, in collaboration with two of the best universities of Taiwan, National Taiwan University and National Tsing Hua University, has launched a Ph.D. program entitled “The Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP)”. TIGP will commence with two graduate programs beginning the fall of 2002: (1) Molecular Dynamics & Spectroscopy; and (2) Chemical Biology & Molecular Biophysics. More programs will be established in year 2003. The TIGP is designed to attract bright and self-motivated young people from other countries to do graduate study and research in a broad spectrum of cutting-edge fields. The TIGP offers Ph.D. fellowships to qualified students.
