The Central Bank of China, Taiwan

The Central Bank of China has a vacancy for Senior Economist. All applications should fulfill the following criteria:
1. A Ph.D degree in Economics from a prestigious university (obtained by 31 July 2004).
2. Specialization in the fields of money and banking, macroeconomics and econometrics.
3. Excellent ability to conduct research independently.
4. Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
All candidates should be R.O.C. citizens with maximum age of 40 and should not hold dual nationality. Male candidates should have fulfilled their military service requirements.
Deadline for application is 29 Feb 2004. The following documents are required:
a. A photocopy of the candidate’s National I.D. card or R.O.C passport.
b. Bi-lingual English and Chinese Curriculum Vitae (one copy)
c. A photocopy of the Ph.D. degree certificate or a course advisor’s letter showing that such a certificate can be obtained before 31 July 2004.
d. Course transcripts (one copy)
e. A copy of the Ph.D. dissertation, or recent publications or papers representative of the candidate’s research work.
f. Two recommendation letters.
