Academia Sinica, in collaboration with several top research universities in Taiwan, offers excellent advanced Ph.D. training programs entitled ˇ§The Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP)ˇ¨. TIGP offers seven degree programs in Year 2004: (1) Chemical Biology & Molecular Biophysics; (2) Molecular Dynamics & Spectroscopy; (3) Molecular and Biological Agricultural Sciences; (4) Molecular and Cell Biology; (5) Bioinformatics; (6) Nano Science and Technology; and (7) Molecular Medicine. Under an exciting intellectual environment with world-class faculty and state-of-the-art facilities, TIGP offers courses in English and competitive graduate fellowships to qualified students. The application deadline is March 31, 2004. The TIGP welcomes bright and self-motivated young people from all over the world to do graduate study and research in a broad spectrum of cutting-edge of science and technology.
