The National Palace Museum in Taipei is Holding two Professional Forums in April and May, 2004

The National Palace Museum holds one of the finest collections of Chinese art in the world. The Museum hopes to begin a discourse concerning the challenges museums face in the 21st century by holding two international conferences: 1) “Summit of International Museum Directors: New Images, New Strategies” on April 29th ~ 30th, 2004； 2) “F@IMP.2004 Festival Audiovisual International Musees & Patrimoine” on May 3rd ~ 7th, 2004. All the topics covered and new technologies introduced in the conferences will shape the future development of museums’ new images and new strategies in incorporating academia, culture and entertainment.
