Up to 10 Chair Professorships Available at National Central University, Taiwan Apply by December 31, 2005

In celebration of the 90th anniversary of its founding, National Central University (國立中央大學, NCU), a comprehensive research university in Taiwan, establishes up to 10 chair professorships for distinguished scholars. Applicants under age 60 with a record of distinguished research accomplishments, in any field appropriate for the areas as follows: Learning Science; Bioethics; Visual Culture, Mathematics, Plasma Physics, Genomics, Materials Chemistry and Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Energy Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, High-Speed Optoelectronic Devices and Ics for Communications, New Generation Wireless Mobile Core Network and Service Enabling Technology, Network Learning Technology, Software Engineering and Technology, Financial Engineering and Electronic Finance, Electronic Commerce, Atmospheric Science and Earth Science, Space Science, Remote Sensing and Hakka Studies, are welcome to apply.

The chair professorship offers extra salary up to 1,000,000 NTD /per year (with start up funding up to NTD 5,000,000) for five years.
