Taipei Municipal Teachers College Shared Beauty of Taiwan Folk Songs with Trinity University in Texas

Through the coordination and sponsoring of the Cultural Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Houston, Taipei Municipal Teachers College collaborated with Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas to present a masterclass and one concert at Chapman Auditorium on March 4, 2005 to introduce the beauty of Taiwan folk songs.
At concert several masterpieces of Beethoven and Mozart, as well as a series of Taiwan folk songs were presented by Dr. Kung-Chin Lin, Dr. Eric Chen and Dr. Lin-Ju Ou. All three are well-known pianist from Taipei Municipal Teachers College. The music was warmly welcomed by about 200 audience, mostly music-majored students, professors and American friends from San Antonio community.
